Logmed

Streamlining Logistics with a Bold Logo Design

This logo design for Austrian logistics consultancy, Logmed, was a collaborative effort under the tutelage of Ortner & Weihs. Inspired by the iconic imagery and colors associated with shipping and transportation, I aimed to create a brand identity that reflected Logmed’s efficiency and reliability.

Bridging the Gap Between Inspiration and Implementation:

My initial design process involved extensive research into logistics companies and sketching numerous concepts. Collaborating with Ortner & Weihs, we narrowed down the options to three strong contenders. To ensure the logo functioned seamlessly across various applications, we created mockups showcasing its integration with business cards, letterhead, and even company vehicles.

Finding Harmony in Different Tastes:

Balancing creative freedom with client expectations can be a challenge. In this case, bridging the gap between my design expertise and the preferences of both Ortner & Weihs and the final client, Logmed, was crucial. Through open communication and collaborative refinement, we achieved a consensus that satisfied everyone involved.

Learning Experience: Refining Ideas and Embracing Constraints:

This project proved invaluable in honing my design skills. I learned the importance of streamlining initial ideas, focusing on only a few and meticulously optimizing them. Working within the constraints of client preferences, budget, and design principles ultimately pushed me to create the best possible outcome under specific limitations.
